Breaking habits is tough, but they are achievable with the right amount of encouragement and the right system put into place. 
At EV Ergonomics we focus on systems that reach actionable goals and not the goals themselves. The difference between systems and goals are that goals are what we set out to do, systems is the process to get to the goal. 
Goals are momentarily achieved, leaving you to chase the next goal instead of embedding a system into your lifestyle. This is why so many employees will reach their goal then fall back into bad habits or the goal becomes to unattainable without having a system in place. 

Our EV Ergonomics Break Through Package works with companies to provide our services to employees for the first three months after their initial assessment with the option to continue with  online support services and more. Now this might seem like a lot, but if you have ever monitored employee behaviors after a training session, it can take months for the employee to adapt the process into their workstyle and continue on that path to build a good habit.  Our Employee Habit Breakthrough system takes the time to coach and encourage employees on staying on the progressive growth they are needing to change their bad habits and truly understand how to continue to carry through the process for years to come without being coached each day.

The Employee Habit Breakthrough Package
What Does It Look Like For My Company?
An Ergonomic System Broken Down To 3 simple steps: 
Step 1: Initial Assessment
Setting an employee up with their ergonomic consultant for a three hour assessment, introduction to the system and conduct:
  • Evaluation and set up of employee in their work area
  • Training on proper handling of tools and equipment needed for the position
  • Proper positioning, bending and rotating that is specific to their surroundings and tasks
  • Identifying hazards in their line of work, workspace
  • Employee Risk Assessment with question and answer period

After the initial assessment is complete, an employee assessment report along with a 3 Week Daily Habit Forming checklist and ergonomic tips and facts, built on that employees individual needs, is sent within a few days and includes access to our EV Ergo Help online. 
Step 2:  One Month Follow Up Assessment
It takes on average 3 weeks for an employee to settle into a routine and build healthy habits in their line of work. 
This is why EV Ergonomics comes back for a one hour follow up 3 weeks after the initial assessment.
This follow up assessment has been proved vital to employees as it helps with:
  • Any questions or concerns they may have; and the
  • Opportunity to work one on one with our consultant.
  • Sometimes there are adjustments that need to be made or improvement needed with certain behaviors.
We assess the employees working habits and give some tips and exercises to work into their daily routine to follow for the next 2 months. We follow up this assessment with a detailed check in report and continuous support resources.

Step 3: Three Month Assessment
Each employee at their 3 month assessment will work with our ergonomics consultant for an hour follow up on the progress they have made, evaluation of the employee working and recommendations on continuing to focus on their daily habits taught. The three month assessment helps employees with:
  • Observation of wanted/unwanted habits
  • Additional tasks added to their position
  • Review of exercises given, daily habit builders  and EV Ergo Help online support
Employee Extras!!!
EV Ergonomics follows up with the employee on a weekly basis during the three month Employee Habit Breakthrough package with helpful and encouraging texts or emails, tips on building productive habits that is conducive to their line of work and written out weekly processes to incorporate into their work week to build healthy habits.
