EV Ergonomics Consultant, Shawna Bryant, started consulting in 2008 after training in office, site and vehicular ergonomic assessments. Since then she has performed over thousands of ergonomic assessments in offices, gas plants, schools, construction sites, vehicle assessments, shops, mines, home and virtual visits and has taught numerous seminars and training workshops.
Working in oil and gas for over 10 years as a site supervisor and with the experience in HR, Health and Safety, project management and ergonomics, Shawna took the initiative to create safety policies, programs and has a proactive approach to taking the safety of the worker in the initial onboarding process and continuing the proactive approach with all workers no matter how long they have been in their position.

Being able to incorporate the safety approach from the experience of being a Site Supervisor entwined with the training in ergonomics was how EV Ergonomics employer programs started. Creating a system that is built to support employees working on building positive habits, ensuring quality follow up and growing a partnership with employers as they build injury prevention into their workplace culture.
